I’m intrigued by this idea, but every time I revisit it, I just don’t want to focus on it. It just doesn’t fit Marloth well.

Watching horror movies, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of deconstructing and subverting common haunted home tropes.
However, I’m not interested in a haunted home for any of the normal reasons for having one—I’m purely interested in the subversion.
I’ve already stumbled upon a way to reinvent ghosts, what if I could reinvent haunted homes?
I could extract the properties I want to keep, and replace everything else with more meaningful, Biblical properties.
So whenever I have imagined an implementation, it feels hollow.
What I probably should do is establish what the normal interest in haunted homes is, and what I am trying to subvert.
I should also further define what I mean and don’t mean by “haunted home”.
